Reference to a Munrow Symposium?

I came across this from an excellent early music blog.

David Munrow, more than 30 years after his death, still doesn’t have a biography – though there is quite an extensive website with a forum – and a symposium is now in the pipeline.

There is a reference to a symposium? I have not heard of this before...maybe something connected with the work of Ed Breen?

I've just posted a question on the Semibrevity blog re the symposium.  If bnadmin (the blog administrator) responds, I'll post the person's reply on this forum.

By the way, how did you find out that John Turner is writing a biography of Munrow?  Any idea when his book will be published?

I have tried in vain to get confirmation about a book on Munrow from John Turner. However, as I understand it this is NOT a biography but a collection of recollections (so to speak!) on him via people who knew him..especially ofcourse the Consort members...

The prime source of the above was David Griffith.

Thanks for letting us forum readers know that Turner is compiling (written, I assume?) recollections of Munrow from those who knew Munrow.  Any chance that Turner will publish the recollections on or near August 12 of this year?

Have you or Griffith shared with Turner the written recollections that you've received from Munrow's colleagues?  I think the ones you've posted on this forum have been interesting and worth sharing with an even wider audience.

The Semibrevity administrator responded to my request for information re a David Munrow Symposium - to wit:

"Symposium, in the sense of a collection of essays on a particular subject by a number of contributors, not an event, I’m afraid. I’ll announce the publication when it’s finally ready, likely with a post about Munrow."

Now, I wonder if the essays were written by RAM students, such as Jeremy Summerly; written by Munrow's colleagues, including those that Turner is compiling; or both?

I have no idea whether the Turner "collection" will be published near, or on August 12th. I have tried to contact JT but I never get a response. So, there you have it!

However, as a novel, and "bizarre" side interest August 12th 1977 has special significance because I experienced a "vision" of the "Spiritual Sun." This in part acted as a stimulus in part into my exploration into the "unknown."

Incidently, I may sometime produce Notes on a Musician: David Munrow, and the World of Early Music which would be a free online publication drawing alot of its material from my posts.
