There appears to be another Early Music Festival in Brighton celebrating Munrow, and the Early Music Consort in one of its progammes.

Saturday 10th November 1 - 3 pm

Philip Thorby director
 David Munrow – celebrating inspiration!

Had he lived, this iconic figure in the early music world would have been 70 this year. In collaboration with Bath Festival we have devised a celebration of his legacy. A ‘tribute band’ comprising 13 multi-instrumentalists, including some of the top names in the early music world will give a rousing performance of renaissance dances by Susato and Praetorius. We will also show excerpts of his 70s series Early Music Instruments made for Granada Television.
