I didn't go to it, but I was in contact with someone who went and they said it was well-attended.

There's a similar event at this year's Brighton Early Music Festival, on November 10th, which I'm hoping to be at...

It's a great idea - live music in homage of Munrow, and a decent discussion, together with excerpts from the DVD.
