Thank you for your response. However, it is very difficult to trace the present copyright holders of Music in the Round, and the Music from the Great Houses--Montecute. I have had no time, or interest at present to do this but since you are clearly a dab hand on the internet, and if you are not too busy you could possibly help, and contact me publicly, or privately. And it must be remembered that the relevant recordings above may no longer exist.
As for the Pied Piper radio programmes it would obviously be easy to trace the copyright holders. Whether a selection from them is feasible commercially is hard to say but as far as I understand it Early Musical Instruments has been selling well. As with virtually everything in the world it all comes back to money, and capitalism (ie. supply, and demand)!
I may, or may not be in contact with David Griffiths on the phone fairly soon. I have met him once when he was delivering early musical instruments to customers in the north, and south of England. I saw him in Windsor which ofcourse is full of history.
