Radio Bios, and Tributes.

Shortly after DM died there was an excellent radio programme entitled A Memory of David Munrow. In the 1990s there was a critical, but interesting programme entitled After Munrow which dealt in detail with the influence he had on early music, and the such like. A few years ago there was a two part programme on BBC 3 by the musician Andrew Manse on DM. Well, worth listening to along with the two other recordings. The same is also true of the programme which was entitled Mr. Munrow. His Study which notably featured Parrott (DMs agent), and James Bowman who were reminiscing. Essentially though, it was highlighting the RAM collection of DMs musical life.

The first two radio programmes appear on the National Sound Archives, and the other two are still traceable I believe on the BBC website. There is also one old recording in which Christopher Bishop (DMs producer of the EMI series) discusses how it was like to work with DM!!!

Another producer John Wilan also gave some fascinating insight in a Memory of David Munrow.
